OUR HISTORY
The Company was incorporated on 15th April, 1982 as a Private
Limited Company under the name of Supreme Holdings Private Limited.
The Company was acquired as going concern by the JATIA group in the
year 1987. The Company became Public Limited Company pursuant to
Resolution passed in the Extra Ordinary General Meeting held on 21st
March, 1994. The Company entered the Capital market with its maiden
public issue in the year 1995.
In 2011, the Jatia Hotels and Resorts Pvt Ltd and Royalways
Trading & Investments Services Pvt Ltd amalgamated with the Company
and the Company acquired their valuable assets and enter the
Hospitality Industry in a formidable way. Subsequently the name of
Company was changed to Supreme Holdings & Hospitality (India) Ltd.
OUR ACTIVITIES
The Company was engaged in Non Banking Financial activities.
Considering the vast opportunities available in the Hospitality
Industry in India, the Company decided to enter the hospitality
industry with a long term view which mainly focused on development
of hotels along with other support services. It also holds various
stakes in listed hotel companies in India.
The company has mainly focused in Maharashtra and short listed
two locations for development first being Pune and second being
Panvel. It has already acquired and secured freehold land at the
above two locations and the same is vested with the company.
The company is developing a five star hotel at Kalyani Nagar,
Pune. It has tied-up with Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) for the
same. It is a mixed-used development that comprises of a 308 room
hotel and commercial building with a total development of 1.2
million sqft in the heart of Pune City.
As part of its strategy the Company has also acquired a land bank
at Panvel with a view of developing a resort along with other
support services. Looking at the pace of development in this
suburban city with huge infrastructure projects such as the
International Airport, dedicated freight corridor of the Indian
Railways between Delhi and Mumbai (DFRC), Sion-Panvel Expressway and
the 22km Mumbai-JNPT sea-link this suburban town has the potential
to grow tremendously in the near future. |
